Wisdom teeth are the last teeth that emerge in to a person’s mouth (one on each corner), during late teens or early twenties. Many a time, these wisdom teeth do not grow properly, due to lack of sufficient space in the mouth. In many people wisdom teeth get stuck in the bone, or emerge at an angle, or only partly emerge. This situation is known as impacted teeth and can lead to multiple problems: pain in the tooth, face neck or even the throat; head ache and ear ache. Furthermore, the impacted wisdom teeth can push the teeth in front, to cause crowding of teeth or discomfort or even pain.
